IGCSE
Dā Ark is an international school open to anyone seeking a private education. Our core philosophy is to provide the best and equal opportunities for every student to learn at their own pace, ensuring that no one is left behind. With a strong foundation rooted in Christian values, we integrate these principles to nurture and guide each child’s development.
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is an English language curriculum designed to prepare students for further education, including the International Baccalaureate, A Level, and BTEC Level 3, which are recommended for higher-tier students. Based on the GCE O-Level and recognized as equivalent to the GCSE, the IGCSE was developed by the University of Cambridge International Examinations. The examination board Edexcel offers its version, the Edexcel International GCSE. Students start the syllabus at the beginning of Year 10 (Grade 9) and take the exams at the end of Year 11 (Grade 10).
